Since the release of EP 118 and the conversation and story of host Steve Rodriguez about having to be put on PEP for potentially being exposed to HIV, the RN PEP Care Manager for the LA LGBT Center in WEHO reached out and said the Center offers PEP at no cost for uninsured LA County residents. He also mentioned that most insurance policies cover PEP. The Center has programs to cover costs that insurance won’t cover as well.
